Our partnership with Sudan and South Sudan is based on mutual respect and concern for one another, and especially the need to pray for one another. Any financial support is offered within this spirit of concern, respecting that our partners will be best placed to know their needs and how to meet them.
Some examples of the varied education projects we have helped to fund include:
- Support to the Juba Diocese Model Secondary School, the most successful school in South Sudan.
- Links between Sherborne Girls school and the Episcopal Church Girls Secondary School in Omdurman.
- Providing bursaries for the fees of poorer children in secondary and primary schools in South Sudan.
- Supporting the training of Ministers within several theological colleges
In addition, the Partnership has supported the new Christian University in South Sudan in different ways.
